Contact Centres

These are contact centres in our area.   Note, it is not possible to approach a contact centre directly when looking for placements.  You need to be referred either by the Court, CAFCASS or a solicitor.

 

South Bristol Child Contact Centre

Saturday afternoons

The South Bristol Contact Centre provides the venue and support for parents, who otherwise would have no contact with their children, to meet up with their children and spend valuable time together. It operates every Saturday afternoon.

Referrals are through courts and solicitors. The operation is manned by volunteers on a rota basis and the Centre is a member of the National Association of Child Care Centres.

Yate Child Contact Centre

Yate Child Contact Centre, located in the Mthodist Church, is a safe, friendly and neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with one or both parents and sometimes other family members.

It provides a child-centred environment with toys, games and facilities that reflect the diverse needs of children affected by family breakdown.
